marty mikles
A multi-talented artist with years of experience leading worship around the U.S., Marty Mikles released his debut solo album, Running In Circles last year to an eager audience. Combining guitar-driven worship and edgy vocals with a lyrical transparency that is a rare commodity in Christian music, Running In Circles runs the gamut of rock stylings. Fans of Marty’s earlier music will immediately identify with new versions of the songs Glorious King and Don’t Worry Child, while new songs like Bless the Lord and Blue Skies are sure to soon become favorites.
Currently, Marty celebrates the release of his latest project, "Unfailing Love" with fellow bandmates, transMission, a collective of musicians that encourage followers of Christ to transform their worship into mission by turning their songs about changing the world into actions that actually do. "Unfailing Love" offers new songs, including the title track, and several other exciting new songs that promise to uplift and challenge the listener. Working in collaboration with long-time co-worker and best mate, Phil Laeger, Marty shares a new offering of songs that push the envelope of what might easily be expected. We also had the immense privilege of working with new writers, Josh Ivany and Murray Preston (both Canadians - purely coincidental!). Combine that with the amazing talents of Phil Laeger, Jason Hoard (Producer, Running In Circles), Lex Roberson, Michael Walker, Brandon Coker, Darryl Crossland, Robert Snelson, Ramona Chapman, Troy Griffin, and the magical fingers and ears of Bernie Dake, and you've got transMission's newest release, "Unfailing Love."
